We did not buy a TicNote device or subscribe to a paid Cloud plan for this piece. Over four days we captured TicNote's own homepage, pricing, and feature pages directly, reading the plan minutes, file size limits, and Shadow Credit allowances off the actual pricing table rather than a summary of it. We then cross-referenced those specs against three independent hands-on hardware reviews (BGR, MacSources, G Style Magazine) that did buy and use the recorder, and against verified user ratings on three platforms where real customers leave a score: the Amazon hardware listings, the TicNote app on Apple's App Store, and the TicNote Cloud extension on the Chrome Web Store. We could not find a public numeric rating on G2, Capterra, or Trustpilot at the time of writing, and no substantive Reddit thread surfaced either; we say so rather than invent a number for platforms that had none to show.

The Shadow Agent is the more interesting promise and the shakier one. Weigh that against your own habits before buying the recorder for Shadow specifically.
